Scholarships and Grants: Choral
The Associated Male Choruses of America – AMCOFA
This annual program is open to all qualified and deserving students of music. This year, successful candidates will be awarded scholarships ranging in value from $1,000 to $1,200 each. To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled in undergraduate university/college music programs during the 2011-2012 academic years. Preference is for students specializing in vocal music studies, though students of instrumental music are also eligible. Candidates MUST be sponsored by a member chorus of the Associated Male Choruses of America. Application deadline: March 1.
Texas Choral Directors Association
Student applicants must be enrolled in a Texas college or university, have 60+ hours toward an elementary or secondary choral music or church music degree with choral emphasis by May 31 of the year applying, and must have maintained a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 system.
