The 73rd Festival music program includes performances by pianists Vadym Kholodenko, laureate of the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition; and Lovro Pogorelić, a musician with tremendous focus and energy, in the original version of Liszt's Transcedental études. The program also includes a performance by Russian violinist Alena Baeva, Russian cellist Boris Andrianov, and Montenegrin guitarist Miloš Karadaglić. “Dubrovnik on a Rock of Music” will gather Dubrovnik's musicians for a rare and unexpected program from the belle époque.

In 2022, the Grafenegg Festival under the artistic direction of Rudolf Buchbinder once again offers a program filled with renowned orchestras and superb artists. FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
Diversity is the theme this summer. Lucerne Festival Orchestra will perform with Music Director Riccardo Chailly as well as Jakub Hr?ša. The Chineke! Youth Orchestra and the Chineke! Orchestra will appear, respectively, at the beginning and end of the Festival. The Lucerne Festival Academy and the LFCO will focus on the work of Composer-in-Residence Thomas Adès and collaborate with Tyshawn Sorey. Both composer/multifaceted instrumentalist Sorey and soprano Golda Schultz will be artistes étoiles. Eighteen orchestras will make guest appearances, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Vienna Philharmonic, the Royal Concertgebouworkest, the Cleveland Orchestra, and the Philadelphia Orchestra.

The 2022 Mizzou International Composers Festival will feature Ensemble-in-Residence Alarm Will Sound. Hailed by The New York Times as one of the most vital and original ensembles on the American scene, the group will work intensively with eight resident composers—selected from an international pool of applicants—on the premieres of new works. Additionally, this year's festival will feature distinguished guest composers Meredith Monk and Angélica Negrón, who will have several works performed and will coach the resident composers. The festival will also feature performances by the Mizzou New Music Ensemble, University of Missouri faculty, and additional guest artists.
All festival events are free and open to the public.

Every August, internationally renowned soloists and outstanding young artists from all over the world meet in Moritzburg Castle near Dresden. Star cellist Jan Vogler founded the Festival in 1993 inspired by America’s Marlboro Music Festival. It unites internationally acclaimed musicians and promising talents in works for chamber and transitional ensembles that are unique and exclusive to the Moritzburg Festival. For the 30th edition in 2022, we welcome soloists such as Chad Hoopes, Matthew Lipman, Harriet Krijgh, Louis Lortie, Lise de la Salle, Andrea Lucchesini, and Sergei Nakariakov. Surrounded by idyllic nature they work on new interpretations of chamber music pieces, presenting them in open air concerts in the fairytale setting of the Moritzburg Castle.
