Ranked as a Top 10 Classical Music Festival by The New York Times, the Grand Teton Music Festival unites the country's best musicians for 8 weeks of symphonic and chamber music. Acclaimed Music Director Sir Donald Runnicles leads the festival, with the world's most talented soloists and conductors.
FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
The Grand Teton Music Festival welcomes musicians and audiences to the majestic foothills of the Teton Mountain Range to celebrate its 61st summer season with eight weeks of performances. Esteemed guest artists include the St. Lawrence String Quartet; pianists Garrick Ohlsson, Joyce Yang, Inon Barnatan and Ingrid Fliter; violinist Augustin Hadelich; cellist Johannes Moser; soprano Capathia Jenkins and guest conductors Eun Sun Kim, Dalia Stasevska, and Markus Stenz. At the heart of the festival is the extraordinary group of musicians who make their way every year to Jackson Hole to come together as the Grand Teton Music Festival Orchestra, under the visionary leadership of Music Director Sir Donald Runnicles, and who are featured as soloists as part of the weekly chamber music series.
