WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS FESTIVAL
The Mann Center for the Performing Arts has served for many decades as Philadelphia's premier outdoor performing arts summer festival, presenting a wide array of cultural programming and popular events.
FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
The Mann's 2022 season is full of exciting cultural programming and musical events. The Mann unveils Downstage @ the Mann, an all-new series offering on-stage seating and new opportunities for connection between artist and audience. The series launches with choreographer Bill T. Jones's Deep Blue Sea, followed by musical performances from Femi Kuti & The Positive Force and Resistance Revival Chorus. The Philadelphia Orchestra returns for its annual summer residency with performances of “Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone™ in Concert,” “Ledisi Sings Nina,” and “Tchaikovsky Spectacular.” BalletX, Philadelphia's premier contemporary ballet, brings its Spring Series to the Mann, featuring world premieres by choreographers Jennifer Archibald and Annabelle Lopez Ochoa. Artists and programs are subject to change.
