MISSION
Founded in 1916 by America’s first great violin recitalist and noted educator, David Mannes, Mannes School of Music is a standard-bearer for innovative artistry, dedicated to developing citizen artists who seek to make the world a better and more beautiful place. Through its undergraduate, graduate, and professional studies programs, Mannes offers a curriculum as imaginative as it is rigorous, taught by a world-class faculty and visiting artists. MISSION
Combining an intensive, conservatory experience with the practicality of a music, business, and liberal arts curriculum, the McDuffie Center for Strings prepares the entrepreneurial musician for success. The Center’s distinguished faculty artists are dedicated to the development of young artists pursuing personal and musical excellence through four years of one-on-one mentorships. Through Mercer courses, the Center encourages its young musicians to engage with all aspects of the 21st century performing-arts world. New World Symphony, America's Orchestral Academy
MISSION
The mission of the New World Symphony is to train gifted graduates of music schools and conservatories for leadership roles in classical music.The New World Symphony envisions a strong and secure future for classical music and will reimagine, reaffirm, express and share its traditions with as many people as possible.
