WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS SCHOOL
Longy prepares musicians to make a difference in the world with a social imperative that is at the core of the School’s curriculum. Breaking down traditional conservatory constraints, Longy students learn to lead meaningful lives in music through project-based courses and performances alongside professional partners.

CAREER / POST-GRADUATION ASSISTANCE
From their first days at Longy, students become a Boston musician, performing professionally with faculty on concert stages around the city. Networking and performing opportunities abound. Students can receive Teaching Assistantships or Graduate Fellowships, which reduce tuition by up to $10,000 per year. There are also numerous employment opportunities on campus.
