Festival della Valle d'Itria
Festival della Valle d'Itria
FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
The 51st Festival della Valle d'Itria is called "Guerre e pace" (Wars and peace), and it originates in a moment in history when the two terms find their way urgently into our daily life. The three operas on the program—Tancredi by Rossini, the Italian premiere of Owen Wingrave (1970) by Britten, and the rare performance of L'enfant et les sortilèges by Ravel—alongside concerts, meetings, and talks, animate the events of the 2025 edition of the Festival for over 20 days.

As per tradition, events of 51st Festival della Valle d'Itria will take place at the Palazzo Ducale, the Basilica di San Martino, the Chiostro di San Domenico, and other spectacular historic venues in the Baroque city of Martina Franca and the typical masserie country estates of Apulia, steeped in culture and millenarian traditions.
