Ranked as a Top 10 Classical Music Festival by The New York Times, the Grand Teton Music Festival unites the country's best musicians for eight weeks of symphonic and chamber music. Acclaimed Music Director Sir Donald Runnicles leads the festival, with the world's most talented soloists and conductors.
FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
The Grand Teton Music Festival welcomes musicians and audiences to the majestic foothills of the Teton Mountains to celebrate its 64th season with eight weeks of performances. Guest artists include violinist James Ehnes; pianist Andrea Lam; guitarist JIJI; vocalists Sasha Cooke, Heidi Stober, and Clay Hilley; cellist Nicolas Altstaedt; Time for Three; ukulele phenom Jake Shimabukuro; Chanticleer ("the world's reigning male chorus"); and GRAMMY-winning jazz guitarist John Pizzarelli. Special events include an evening with Broadway legend Patti LuPone and a recital by pianist Clayton Stephenson. At the heart of the festival are the extraordinary musicians who make up the Festival Orchestra, under the leadership of Music Director Sir Donald Runnicles, and who are featured as soloists as part of the weekly chamber music series.
