La Jolla Music Society SummerFest
La Jolla Music Society SummerFest
FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
SummerFest 2021 Theme: Self + Sound. Composers use music to express their individuality and their identity, celebrate and idealize their nationality, convey their love, and immortalize friends and family. Yet for all its highly individual expression, music is also universal and speaks to us equally. This summer's program explores how composers write themselves into their music, and how the diversity of influences that make us unique finds its expression in sound.
