Free tuition, thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, your SMF Fellowship provides an approximately $5,000 scholarship ensuring no tuition expense for participation; registration: $200, each Fellow must pay a non-refundable registration fee due upon acceptance; housing: $650 for accommodation at Hyatt Regency Sarasota; the SMF Fellowship offsets most of the room cost, with a $175 housing deposit due upon acceptance; meals: $250, more than 21 meals are provided, breakfast and lunch are provided Monday through Saturday, dinner on your own with a few parties and meals provided by the volunteers of SMF. There are grocery stores and restaurants nearby. All Fellows must pay this fee by May 28; recording fee: $20, each Fellow will receive a digital recording of their performances during SMF.

Cannon Music Camp is a three-week music-filled retreat in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. The camp offers intensive college preparatory work that sets students up for success in auditions, college music study, and their own musical passions.
WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS PROGRAM
Comprehensive music camp in the Blue Ridge Mountains for voice, band, orchestra, keyboard, and guitar. Features private instruction, large and small ensembles, jazz, master classes, music theory classes, conducting class, college campus experience, and distinguished visiting artists. Open to dedicated musicians who are rising ninth graders through graduating high school seniors.

The festival will be celebrating its 57th season in 2025.
43 young artists get accepted each year to intensively study chamber music, orchestral, and solo repertoire. A side by side concert with The Cleveland Orchestra will take place on Saturday, August 2, 2025. WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS PROGRAM
Chamber, orchestral, and solo repertoire are core components of Kent Blossom Music Festival. Students experience intensive coaching and mentorship from members of The Cleveland Orchestra, Kent State music faculty, and visiting guest artists. The festival stands as one of the top summer training institutes in the U.S.
