Arion Baroque Orchestra Season 2017-2018

Arion Baroque Orchestra is proud to announce its 2017-2018 season, a series of 5 concerts at Bourgie Hall, part of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. Join us and be transported to Baroque-era Europe while enjoying works by composers including Vivaldi, Bach, Handel, and Telemann, just to name a few. Arion offers several subscription packages, including a 3 concert, 4 concert, and 5 concert subscription. Subscribers benefit from many advantages such as discounts on tickets, free access to pre-concert conferences, and many more! November 24, 2017: Rejoicing! (Part of the Bach Festival at Notre Dame Basilica); Works by Bach and Telemann; Guest Artists: Alexander Weimann (direction and harpsichord), Hélène Brunet (soprano), Krisztina Szabo (alto), Philippe Gagné (tenor), and David McFerrin (baritone)

February 8-11, 2018: Teatro alla moda Works by Albioni, Marcello, Vivaldi, and many more; Guest Artist: Amandine Beyer (direction and violin)

April 11-15, 2018: Virtuosi! Works by Bach, Handel, Quantz, and Telemann; Guest Artist: Dmitry Sinkovsky (direction and violin)

May 1, 4-6, 2018: From comic to tragic with Mozart and Haydn; Works by Mozart and Haydn; Guest Artists: Lorenzo Coppola (direction and clarinet), Andréanne Brisson Paquin (soprano), and Pierre-Antoine Tremblay (horn)
