BOSTON — Chorus pro Musica, (CpM) under the direction of Jamie Kirsch, will commence its 68th season on November 4 with Beethoven’s monumental “Missa Solemnis” at Jordan Hall. In one of their most wide-ranging seasons in recent memory, CpM will perform six concerts and collaborate with three award-winning Boston ensembles, the New England Philharmonic, the Boston City Singers and the Boston Philharmonic.

The season will also include Michael Tippett’s powerful oratorio “A Child of our Time,” with the New England Philharmonic; Mahler’s “Resurrection” Symphony No. 2 with the Boston Philharmonic in Symphony Hall; and a concert production of the Gershwins’ 1931 Pulitzer Prize-winning musical, “Of Thee I Sing.” A CpM season would not be complete without their much anticipated and enjoyed annual traditions; the Family Holiday concert with the Boston City Singers and Candlelight Christmas in Old South Church.
