Maricopa Music Circle will present Autumn Musicale – Spotlight on Soloists, a concert on October 18 at 7:30 PM at First Baptist Church of Maricopa - 18705 N. John Wayne Parkway in Maricopa, Arizona.

The program is a sequence of works drawn from opera, ballet, stage - and cartoons. Solo turns for individual musicians are highlighted throughout the performance in a mix that balances more-intimate scorings with full orchestral compositions. The music includes works by Mozart, Bizet, Bach, Tchaikovsky, Smetana, Saint-Saens, Fritz Kreisler, and Raymond Scott.

Tickets are $5, and can be purchased at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/875990. For more information, call 520-316-6268 or visit https://www.facebook.com/MaricopaMusicCircle.

Founded in 2010 as a small ensemble, Maricopa Music Circle has grown into a true Chamber Orchestra bringing together local Maricopa musicians who primarily are music professionals at a high level. The group performs without a conductor. In addition to its regular schedule of orchestral concerts, throughout the last several seasons MMC has partnered with other Maricopa presenting organizations in the Arts, providing music for Desert Sun Performing Arts, Maricopa Community Theatre and Art on the Veranda among others. Orchestra members includes acclaimed solo artists who have appeared around the world, master teachers from around the U.S., and active orchestra members from several states.
