WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS FESTIVAL?
The compact nature of SMF creates an intensive environment with different faculty each week. Participants direct their chamber studies by choosing the repertoire and many perform alongside faculty artists. Several faculty are known for expanding the classical repertoire, including violinist Tessa Lark, cellist Mike Block, and hornist Jeff Scott.
