Ravinia believes in the power of shared, live-music moments to inspire ourselves and the world. Beyond presenting outstanding performances by the world's greatest musicians, the not-for-profit's mission is to develop broader, more diverse audiences and performers in the music industry.
FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
Ravinia Festival's 2024 season highlights include the 88th Chicago Symphony Orchestra residency, including the Breaking Barriers Festival celebrating Women Leaders in Music and Space with Chief Conductor Marin Alsop; a Mozart residency with James Conlon, featuring a semi-staged production of Idomeneo and a concert with beloved symphonic works; chamber music with the Takács Quartet, Miloš Karadaglić with the Viano String Quartet, and more; and voice recitals by Karen Slack and Matthias Goerne.
