AGO/ECS Publishing Award in Choral Composition

ABOUT THIS COMPETITION
The competition seeks outstanding compositions for SATB chorus and organ in which the organ plays a distinctive and significant role; requirements vary for each competition. There is a $2,000 cash prize, publication by ECS Publishing, and a world premiere performance at an AGO National Convention.

The 2026 Gina Bachauer International Junior and Young Artists Piano Competitions will have the international piano world abuzz. Junior competitors, ages 11 to 14, and Young Artists competitors, ages 15 to 18, will vie for medals and their share of $62,000 in cash prizes. Young Artists final round is with the Utah Symphony.

ABOUT THIS COMPETITION
Established in 1951, the Besançon Competition is the most complete competition in the world with classical, romantic, 20th-century, and contemporary music, opera and concerto. It is the only competition where candidates are selected during live preliminary rounds (and not from their documentation).

ABOUT THIS COMPETITION
The Colorado College Summer Music Festival is an intensive three-week program for 50 advanced student musicians, including violin, viola, cello, bass, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, horn, trumpet, trombone, piano, and conducting. Participants are chosen from hundreds of applicants to partake in this unique program of learning and public performances.

Concert Artists Guild is committed to supporting musicians who are ready to launch their careers on the national and international stage. Prizes include a multi-year management contract with CAG, a New York debut performance, participation in Citizen Musician Training, North American and European management, and a Wigmore Hall performance.

The 2025 competition is open to all instruments, voice, and chamber ensembles. Age limits as of January 31, 2025: solo instrumentalists: 28 years old; ensembles: average age of 30 years old; solo singers: 30 years old. See here for more information on eligibility.

The Competition includes five age-based categories, an online elimination on February 2025, and in-person finals on May 10-11. Video submissions must be high-quality, unpublished, and royalty-free.
