WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS FESTIVAL
The Strings Music Pavilion, built in 2008 of exposed timber with a bowstring-like truss ceiling, was designed to showcase a terrific acoustical environment inside The relatively small 560-seat venue provides an intimate evening for concertgoers and interaction?s with musicians after the concert is just part of the experience.
FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
Principal players from the Boston Symphony, Chicago Symphony, The Cleveland Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, National Symphony, New York Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, and the San Francisco Symphony will share the stage for 10 classical performances. Soloists include violinist Chee-Yun, pianist Joyce Yang, and trumpeter Michael Sachs. Other highlights include Boz Scaggs with his full band, country icon Clint Black, and Red Rocks favorite Lake Street Dive.
