PianoArts North America Competition and Music Festival |
ABOUT THIS COMPETITION
Finalists have four rehearsals-with second pianist, conductor, chamber ensemble, and full orchestra-prior to performing a full concerto with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra in the final round. The Artist Training Institute offers contestants classes on engaging audiences with concert conversations. During the concurrent festival, each performs outreach concerts.

For pianists, ages 16-21, of any nationality, living or studying full time in North America.

SEMIFINALS (live rounds)
Ten pianists, selected as semifinalists, will perform two live non-eliminating competition recitals in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. Each will perform a solo recital on June 1, 2018. On June 3, each will perform a collaborative recital that includes a violin or cello duo with a partner from the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. |
