Since its creation, the Reina Sofía School of Music has been a benchmark for musical creativity, attracting young musicians from around the world who seek to perfect their musical skills and also to make a significant impact in various areas of society. We support our students in developing their curiosity, nurturing their motivation to imagine and build their own artistic project, one that contributes to and reflects on the present context, both within and beyond the traditional boundaries of classical music, and thereby contributes to the development and growth of the musical ecosystem and society.

Founded in 1991, the Reina Sofía School of Music is one of Europe's leading conservatoires for advanced performance training. Every student receives a full scholarship. With a 2:1 student-faculty ratio, training is genuinely personalized at every level. Students from more than 35 countries take part in close to 400 performances a year—recitals, chamber music, orchestral projects, and international tours—in the cultural heart of Madrid.
