MISSION
Northeastern's curricula in music history, ethnomusicology, music theory, music technology, and music industry are designed to facilitate flexible options that allow the integration of studies in music with other disciplines, either within the College or Arts, Media and Design, or in collaboration with Northeastern University's other colleges, encompassing the humanities, sciences, business, and law. Northeastern's mission is to embrace but also transcend career preparation in music to foster the next generation of thought leaders and change agents at the intersection of uniquely creative paths in research, technological innovation, and the entire range of human literacies.
