Pacific Region International Summer Association (PRISMA) Festival & Academy
Pacific Region International Summer Association (PRISMA) Festival & Academy
MISSION
PRISMA offers an in-depth orchestral training program that provides you with the essential tools to win a position in a professional orchestra. In a supportive learning environment you'll be performing orchestral masterworks alongside 80 of your peers. The program prepares for the professional life of an orchestra musician.
PRISMA is also very valuable for undergraduates, as it helps develop skills for future studies and builds confidence for student recitals and exams. There are numerous concerts and performance opportunities during the two-week PRISMA Festival each June, attended by enthusiastic and sophisticated audiences in Powell River, British Columbia, Canada.
WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS SCHOOL
PRISMA prides itself on its focus not only on the technical aspects of music education but on the care it takes to ensure a positive experience—one that brings people together through a shared love of music. It has an exceptionally supportiveenvironment for learning and performing together.
