WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS FESTIVAL
The Skaneateles Festival stands out as a premier summer event in New York's Finger Lakes, blending world-class musicians with community spirit. Since 1980, its creativity, diverse programming, national broadcasts, and commitment to education and outreach have expanded access to dynamic, inclusive music for broad audiences.
FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
The 2026 summer season of the Skaneateles Festival will include: dynamic and decorated fiddlers Jason Carter and Michael Cleveland; composer, singer, and visual artist Cécile McLorin Salvant; the Grammy-winning Silkroad Ensemble with Rhiannon Giddens; an orchestral performance of Beethoven Under the Stars; and more. Celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, the Festival will additionally explore how the founders' revolutionary spirit lives on in American arts and culture, and include themes celebrating trailblazing women who have helped shape our nation.

This season, running July 30 through August 22, includes 14 main-series concerts, two KidsFest performances, a free music lecture series with Juilliard professor Aaron Wunsch, and several free community outreach performances.
