WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS FESTIVAL
Brevard Music Center is one of America's premier summer music festivals and training programs, where nearly 1,000 young musicians from 49 states and 22 countries perform alongside world-class faculty and guest artists in over 80 performances for 40,000 music lovers in North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains.
FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
Brevard Music Center's 2026 Summer Festival celebrates its 90th anniversary featuring internationally acclaimed cellist Yo-Yo Ma in concert (August 2), a performance by jazz icon Branford Marsalis (June 11), and a family-friendly presentation of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi with live orchestra (July 25). Artistic Director Keith Lockhart will conduct major works including Beethoven's Eroica Symphony (June 26), Ravel's Daphnis et Chloé (July 12), Mahler's Symphony No. 4 (July 24), and Rachmaninoff's Symphony No. 2 (July 31). Opera productions include Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro (July 25 & 27). Additional highlights include Béla Fleck's Blue Ridge Banjo Concert (August 15), revolutionary wind quintet Imani Winds (July 6), and GRAMMY Award-winning singer-songwriter Jason Isbell (July 19).
