WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS FESTIVAL
With more than 70 years of experience running a young artist festival and with over 3,000 alumni, many of whom are now singing on the world's greatest stages, Opera in the Ozarks is the only summer opera festival of its kind in the south-central United States.
FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
Opera in the Ozarks is a unique summer music festival in beautiful Eureka Springs, AR. Founded in 1950, it has earned the reputation of being a prominent training program for emerging opera professionals—alumni have gone on to sing on the world's major operatic stages. The 2024 season spans June 21 thru July 19, featuring Verdi's La traviata, Ward's The Crucible, and a double bill featuring Giannini's Beauty and the Beast and Ravel's L'Enfant et les sortilèges. Presenting 22 fully staged performances with orchestra, all at Inspiration Point Theatre in Eureka Springs, AR.
