Kean University 2024 Jazz & Roots Music Festival
WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS FESTIVAL
Starting in 2021, Kean University president, Dr. Lamont Repollet, created the Jazz & Roots Music Festival as a "Fun" raiser to give back to the surrounding community for their support of Kean University in Union, NJ.
FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
Fast becoming a tradition in New Jersey and beyond, the Kean University Jazz & Roots Music Festival, produced by Kean and internationally acclaimed bassist/producer Mike Griot, offers professional jazz, blues, and reggae in a beautiful outdoor setting on The Lawn at Enlow Hall, on Kean's East Campus in Hillside, NJ. The 2024 Jazz & Roots Music Festival will feature the music of Third World, Stefon Harris & Blackout, Solomon Hicks, and DJ Prince Hakim. Previous Jazz & Roots Music Festival artists included Dianne Reeves, Blues People, Judah Tribe, Ken Latham, Don Braden, Dizzy Gillespie Afro-Latin Experience, JSWISS, Dave Stryker Quartet, and Nat Adderly, Jr. Join us on Saturday, September 21, 2024 (rain date Sunday, September 22, 2024).
