WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS FESTIVAL
Once every two years, the George Enescu International Festival features the most important artists and orchestras in the world, supporting the young performers and composers by giving them the opportunity to be heard and seen on one of the most important Festivals stages of the classical music industry.
FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
Once every two years, thousands of musicians—the best orchestras and artists in the world—enchant the public with their performances at the George Enescu International Festival in Bucharest, Romania. The Enescu Competition is an international platform for promoting future world-class musicians and for promoting the compositions of the great George Enescu to the new generation of artists from all over the world. It is a natural extension of the Enescu Festival, the most important cultural event organized in Romania. Winners are invited to perform concerts and recitals in the frame of the great Enescu Festival, in Bucharest and other major Romanian cities. Registrations for the 2024 Competition are open to participants of all nationalities born after August 1, 1989.
