WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS FESTIVAL
The Bethlehem Bach Festival is America's oldest Bach festival. The Mass in B Minor remains our centerpiece, performed by the 95-voice professional-quality volunteer choir, professional Bach Festival Orchestra, and world-renowned soloists under the direction of Dr. Christopher Jackson.
FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
Bach Choir of Bethlehem welcomes the artistry of exquisite soloists at the 116th Bethlehem Bach Festival and showcase recorder-playing star, Vincent Lauzer as the festival's artist-in-residence. Lauzer joins for a Festival full of beloved masterworks, including Komm, Jesu, komm, Brandenburg Concerto No. 4, and the Goldberg Variations. In addition to the annual performance of Bach's Mass in B Minor, the 2024 Festival will once again offer Ifor Jones Chamber Music Concert, Bach at 4 and Chamber Music in the Saal concerts, and performances. The 116th Festival also marks the return of Zimmermann's Coffee House both weekends, showcasing extraordinary young musicians performing in a relaxed atmosphere, complete with a selection of German-inspired food and drink.
