WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS FESTIVAL
Ravinia®, North America's oldest and most programmatically diverse outdoor music festival, presents over 100 summer events in myriad genres including classical music and featuring acclaimed artists from around the world. These concerts run the gamut from Wynton Marsalis to Sting to the annual summer residency of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
The Ravinia Festival® season begins in June, presenting its signature mix of classical, popular, jazz, world music, and chamber music programming. Highlights include the annual Chicago Symphony Orchestra Residency, including Breaking Barriers Festival celebrating Women Composers, an Expanded Beethoven's Ninth, Mozart's The Magic Flute, and more with Chief Conductor Marin Alsop.
