WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS FESTIVAL
With more than 70 years of experience running a young artist festival and with over 3,000 alumni, many of whom are now singing on the world's greatest stages, Opera in the Ozarks is the only summer opera festival of its kind in the south-central United States.
FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
Opera in the Ozarks is a unique summer music festival in beautiful Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Founded in 1950, it has earned the reputation of being a prominent training program for emerging opera professionals—alumni have gone on to sing on the world's major operatic stages.
The 2023 Season spans June 23 thru July 21, featuring Donizetti's L'Elisir d'Amore, Offenbach's Orpheus in the Underworld, and Copland's The Tender Land. Presenting 22 fully staged performances with orchestra. All performances take place at Inspiration Point in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. LOCATION
