WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS FESTIVAL
70 years of experience in running a young artist festival with over 3,000 alumni, many of whom are now singing on the best stages in the world. We are the only summer opera festival of its type in the south central states.
FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
Opera in the Ozarks is a unique summer music festival in beautiful Eureka Springs, AR. Founded in 1950, it has earned the reputation of being a prominent training program for emerging opera professionals—alumni have gone on to sing on the world's major operatic stages.
The 2022 season spans June 24 through July 22, featuring Mozart's Così fan tutte, Puccini's La rondine, and Sondheim's A Little Night Music: for a total of 22 fully staged performances with orchestra. All performances take place at Inspiration Point in Eureka Springs.
