WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS FESTIVAL
At the Santa Fe Opera, the show begins long before the first downbeat. Come early for a tailgate picnic in the parking lot and enjoy a performance presented in a dramatic outdoor theater with stunning views of the surrounding mountain landscape and colorful sunsets.
FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
The 2021 Season presents four operas and two Apprentice Scenes in 30 performances, running from July 10 to August 27. The season explores classic works of the repertory as well as operas new to the Santa Fe Opera and the world's stage. The Marriage of Figaro opens the season, followed by the world premiere of John Corigliano and Mark Adamo's The Lord of Cries. New productions of Eugene Onegin and A Midsummer Night's Dream round out the season.
