WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS FESTIVAL
Music@Menlo's signature programming offers an opportunity to explore and be deeply immersed in chamber music over the course of three weeks. In addition to main-stage performances, the 2021 festival features free afternoon Prelude performances, AudioNotes listening guides, and an online Chamber Music Institute for Young Performers.
FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
Following last summer's all-digital festival, Music@Menlo will return to the live concert stage with "Gather," July 16-August 1. This festival includes performances from our new home, the Spieker Center for the Arts at Menlo School, which will also be live-streamed. There are nine main-stage programs, plus two afternoon Prelude performances featuring artists from the Chamber Music Institute's International Program. The roster includes both festival debuts and familiar faces such as pianists Gilbert Kalish and Wu Han, violinists Kristin Lee and Arnaud Sussmann, violists Paul Neubauer and Matthew Lipman, and cellists Dmitri Atapine and David Finckel.
