WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS FESTIVAL
An integral part of the organization’s mission is to preserve and celebrate the life and music of John Coltrane in his hometown of High Point, North Carolina. Importantly, this mission includes the enrichment of lives through jazz and other musical genres.
FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
Chris Botti headlines the 10th John Coltrane International Jazz and Blues Festival, Saturday, September 4, with saxophonist Marcus Anderson, vocalist Kenny Lattimore, bassist Julian Vaughn and from New Orleans—the band Galactic! Sunday, September 5, is the 2021 Grammy-winning jazz vocalist Kurt Elling, blues sensation Kingfish, Tito Puente, Jr. with special guest Melina Almodovar and saxophonist Lakecia Benjamin.
