The Boston Early Music Festival offers GRAMMY Award-winning Baroque opera and is North America's premier Festival for Early Music.
FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
The 2021 Boston Early Music Festival will be exclusively online, from June 6-13. Themed "Music of Solace & Joy," the week will feature archival video of our 2017 production of Campra's Le Carnaval de Venise and our 2014 double-bill of comic operas by Pergolesi, along with newly recorded concerts by the BEMF Vocal & Chamber Ensembles, soprano Amanda Forsythe, recorder virtuoso Erik Bosgraaf, keyboardist Benjamin Alard, Ensemble Doulce Mémoire, L'Archéron Consort, and other spectacular artists. There will also be virtual Exhibition, Fringe Series, Masterclasses, and more.
