WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS FESTIVAL
The Bethlehem Bach Festival is America's oldest Bach festival. When we return to live performances, the Mass in B Minor will again be our centerpiece, performed by the 95-voice professional-quality volunteer choir, professional Bach Festival Orchestra, and world-renowned soloists under the direction of Greg Funfgeld.
FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
Our 113th Bethlehem Bach Festival comes to you virtually this year, with Festival Artist-in-Residence Paul Taylor Dance Company, and music from The Bach Choir of Bethlehem and Bach Festival Orchestra, with soloists to be named. Highlights include The Barnette Distinguished Scholar Lecture - Peter Wollny, Director of The Bach Archive in Leipzig, Germany; Chamber Music by Bach and other composers including Vivaldi's Four Seasons, featuring Elizabeth Field, concertmaster as the violin soloist with one instrument to a part; Paul Taylor Dance Company; The Bach Choir and Bach Festival Orchestra in concert.
