WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS FESTIVAL
Set in the natural beauty of historic Santa Fe, nestled amid the timeless splendors of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival presents world-renowned musicians in 44 extraordinary concerts, plus open rehearsals, commissioned works, composer talks and free youth programs. Peter Serkin is the 2016 Artist-in-residence.
FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
The 44th season features works by Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Poulenc, Schoenberg, Beethoven, Oliver Knussen, Elgar, Brahms, Britten, and Dvorak. Artists performing include Marc Neikrug and Peter Serkin, Cho Liang Lin and Benny Kim, Keith Robinson and Eric Kim, the Orion and Dover String Quartets, Sarah Shafer (soprano), Kelley O'Connor (mezzo-soprano), Benjamin Bliss (tenor), and Kelly Markgraf (baritone).
