The Walter W. Naumburg Competition is the oldest classical music competition in the world. In 2026, our 100th anniversary year, we will be holding our international violin competition.

ELIGIBILITY
The competition is open to violinists of every nationality. The competitors must be at least 18 years old and no more than 32 years old and cannot be 33 years old on or before November 1, 2026.
