ABOUT THIS COMPETITION
Panama City Symphony's inaugural competition will identify, adjudicate, and celebrate the talents of young artists. A prestigious competition in which eligible high school and college students will compete for monetary prizes and professional awards, including recordings, solo recitals, and a featured performance with Panama City Symphony Orchestra.

Applicants must be pianists, vocalists, or instrumentalists (string, woodwind, or brass). All genres and eras of music are allowed; see additional details here.

FINALS (live rounds)
June 8, 2024, Panama City, FL, live competition
All finalists in High School and College divisions will perform before a professional adjudicating committee, chaired by the PCSO Music Director Sergey Bogza; the adjudicating committee's decisions are final. Memorization is required for the live competition. The performance will be video and/or audio recorded and open to the public. Note: The judges will provide written feedback to be shared with each finalist. Judges, at their own discretion, may be available after the competition for one-on-one feedback sessions.
