ABOUT THIS COMPETITION
The MTNA National Competitions are the most successful and prestigious student competitions in the country. The purpose of the Music Teachers National Association Performance competitions is to provide educational experiences for students and to recognize exceptionally talented young artists and their teachers in their pursuit of musical excellence.

ELIGIBILITY
All entrants must be a U.S. citizen or must hold a U.S. visa or permanent residence (green card), which is valid throughout the competition year. All entrants must study with a teacher who is (1) a member of MTNA, or (2) has paid the Nonmember Teacher Fee of $150. MTNA active membership dues must be paid before submission of the application to avoid the $150 nonmember fee.
*All ages as of January 1, 2023 Stecher and Horowitz (ages 18-29—September 1, 2022 - March 28, 2023)
