ABOUT THIS COMPETITION
The NATS Art Song Composition Award program's purpose is to stimulate the creation of quality vocal literature through the cooperation of singer and composer. The performance of the first place winning composition will be premiered at the 57th NATS National Conference in Chicago, IL.

ELIGIBILITY
Competition is open to any composer. The work must be: song cycle, group of songs, or extended single song of approximately 15 minutes in length; for single voice and piano; to a text written in English, for which the composer has secured copyright clearance; composed within the last two years (after January 1, 2019).
