ABOUT THIS COMPETITION
Schoenfeld International String Competition was founded in 2013 in honor of the violinist Alice Schoenfeld and the cellist Eleonore Schoenfeld, both legendary performers and pedagogues. As a member of WFIMC, the Schoenfeld aims to build a multifaceted platform for gifted violinists, cellists, and chamber music performers all over world. Chamber music ensembles include: string quartet (two violins, viola, cello); piano trio (violin, cello, piano); and piano quartet (violin, viola, cello, piano).
