ABOUT THIS COMPETITION
The Queen Sonja International Music Competition is a prestigious competition, held every two years for singers from around the world. The Competition is a platform for providing career opportunities for young singers and acts as a stepping stone to the professional music world for young artists.

ELIGIBILITY
Singers of all nationalities born in 1989 or later are eligible to apply for the 2021 Competition. All applicants must apply using the electronic application form, which will be available on the Competition's website. The application must include video footage of two self-chosen operatic arias of contrasting styles. Attention should be paid to sound and picture quality. The combined recordings should not be more than 10 minutes long. Additionally, applicants must provide a repertoire list consisting of 10 works, a copy of their passport, an updated CV, and a digital photo.
