ABOUT THIS COMPETITION
This internationally recognized vocal competition engages impressive young operatic talent from all over the world. The Cooper-Bing Competition aims to encourage emerging artists and celebrate the next generation of opera stars. Join us for an afternoon of outstanding singers as they compete for a top prize of $10,000.

ELIGIBILITY
The competition is open to professional and pre-professional singers who have completed, or are engaged in completing, a musical education suitable for the operatic stage.
- All applicants must be between 22-35 years of age on May 3, 2020.
- Past applicants (except those who have exceeded the age limit) may re-enter as new applicants. However, past
finalists are no longer eligible to compete.
- Current full-time employees of the Opera Columbus staff are ineligible to audition.
