The Heifetz Institute delivers six weeks of intensive professional training with world-class faculty, groundbreaking Communication Training, and 50+ performance opportunities—equipping emerging artists with the skills, experience, and confidence to launch successful careers.
WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS PROGRAM
The Heifetz Institute uniquely combines world-class musical training with groundbreaking communication training, ensuring young artists not only master their craft but also connect powerfully with audiences. With intensive performance opportunities, community outreach, and global streaming reach, Heifetz shapes musicians into transformative performers, leaders, and ambassadors for classical music.

AGE & LEVEL
Summer program is open to outstanding string players who generally range in age from 8 to 30. Successful applicants aged 14 or younger are generally assigned to the Junior Division, while those 15 and older are placed in the Senior Division. 14- and 15-year-old students may be considered for both Junior or Senior Divisions, with placement determined by the artistic director.
