PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
Programs this summer include: institutes for horn, organ, trombone, trumpet, tuba / euphonium, viola (plus other institutes to be announced); choral conducting workshops with William Weinert; Instrumental Methods & Techniques with Christopher Azzara; Music Preservation with Alice Carli and Alexander Technique with Katie Fittipaldi (offered in both in-person and online formats); lyric diction, vocal pedagogy, and repertoire courses for singers, voice teachers, and choral directors; and an online Music Theory APSI for high school teachers. We're also excited for the return of several programs: Summer Wind Conducting Institute, Orchestral Conducting Fundamentals, and The Pianist's Guide to Dance Accompaniment (offered in both in-person and online formats).
WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS PROGRAM
Summer@Eastman offers students and the community an individualized and world-class music education experience. Choose from day workshops and camps for middle and high school students, weeklong institutes devoted to various instruments or specialties, collegiate classes, online workshops, and Music Leadership programs and courses.
