2024 GUIDE TO SUMMER PROGRAMS

LJUBLJANA FESTIVAL MASTERCLASSES 2024
LJUBLJANA FESTIVAL MASTERCLASSES 2024
Ljubljana Festival
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
One of Ljubljana Festival's main aims is to educate young artists. It was precisely for this reason that in 2019 it first organised master classes for Slovenian and foreign students, under the artistic direction of Branimir Slokar. One of the most famous trombone players, who made a historical development in music that is felt around the world to this day. At his invitation, his colleagues—excellent musicians, soloists, professors at renowned European musical-educational institutions who are among the best in the world—come to Ljubljana every year. This means students not only have the opportunity to practice with the best, but also enjoy excellent working conditions. In addition to perfecting their instrument-playing skills, young talented artists are acquainted with various tools and skills to begin creating a successful career in the contemporary world, and possibilities are opened up that can help them on the competitive market.
WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS PROGRAM
Masterclasses offer the best world-renowned professors, excellent working conditions, quiet place for lessons, clearly defined schedule, and access to practice rooms during the day in central Ljubljana.
