PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
The festival will be celebrating its 56th season in 2024. 43 young artists get accepted each year to intensively study chamber music, orchestral, and solo repertoire. A side by side concert with The Cleveland Orchestra performing Shostakovich's Symphony No. 5 will take place on Saturday, July 27, 2024.
WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS PROGRAM
Chamber, orchestral, and solo repertoire are core components of Kent Blossom Music Festival. Students at the festival experience intensive coaching and mentorship from members of The Cleveland Orchestra, Kent State music faculty and visiting guest artists. The festival stands as one of the top summer training institutes in the U.S.

Application fee: $50; program fee: $1,300; housing accommodations: KSU Residence Hall, $1,500 per student; students responsible for own means, estimated $600 (not a fee due to KBMF)
