PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
FOOSA provides musicians with two weeks of daily private lessons, orchestra rehearsals, sectionals, recital opportunities, a concerto competition, and concert performances in some of Southern California's most prestigious concert halls.
The FOOSA Philharmonic is a pre-professional orchestra in which program participants perform side-by-side with our renowned faculty members. Artistic Director & Conductor Thomas Loewenheim challenges the orchestra with significant orchestral masterpieces. Recent repertoire has included Also sprach Zarathustra, Don Juan, La Valse, Mahler Symphonies 2 and 6, and Shostakovich Symphonies 7 and 11. This year, the FOOSA Philharmonic will take on Mahler 7 at Disney Hall in LA. WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS PROGRAM
The FOOSA Philharmonic is a pre-professional orchestra where advanced college and high school musicians perform major orchestral masterworks side-by-side with internationally-recognized professionals. FOOSA is a full-immersion program that cultivates a sense of orchestra community.

FOOSA Philharmonic: $1475 plus housing; FOOSA half-day program (younger musicians not yet ready for the FOOSA Phil): $595. Early bird registration before April 2nd is $495.Financial assistance available
