Eastman School of Music
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
Classic courses this summer include: Eastman Experience precollegiate programs for classical and jazz studies; institutes for flute, saxophone, trumpet, horn, and trombone (plus other institutes to be announced); our Summer Organ Academy (for high school and undergraduate organists); choral conducting workshops with William Weinert; lyric diction and vocal pedagogy courses for singers, voice teachers, and choral directors; and an in-person Music Theory APSI for high school teachers wanting to teach AP Music Theory.
We're also excited for the return of several programs which debuted in Summer 2022: the Eastman Summer Tuba & Euphonium Institute; The Pianist's Guide to Dance Accompaniment (offered in both in-person and online formats); and our online workshop, "Notes from Scratch: Introduction to Improvisation and Composition."
