PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
The Sewanee Summer Music Festival offers four programs: Orchestral & Chamber Music, Composition, OperaFest, and String Academy. An artistic training program for student musicians, SSMF focuses on developing all aspects of musicianship including musical technique, professional development, and mindfulness & wellbeing. Participants will experience a rigorous schedule with rehearsals, performances, lessons, coaching sessions, seminars, master classes, and recreational activities.
WHAT DISTINGUISHES THIS PROGRAM
The Sewanee Summer Music Festival is an artistic incubator and inclusive community designed to offer participants the chance to learn and grow together with wonderful colleagues and artist-faculty from around the world. This summer we are proud to offer four programs: Orchestral & Chamber Music, Composition, OperaFest, and String Academy.

Programs range from $2,000-$5,525, which is the full cost including tuition, music, facility fees, housing, and all meals. Significant scholarships are available.
